    Crashing consistently

I haven't played since 5.0, and I resubbed for 5.3 after building a new pc and I'm crashing consistently. Sometimes I won't crash for 4 hours, sometimes I won't be able to log in 5 times in a row. It always gives me a directx11 error of some kind. I've tried updating windows, updating nvidia, checked file integrity, reinstalled the game, reinstalled dx11, ran the game in dx9, ran the game in windowed, ran the game in fullscreen, ran the game at 60 fps, and I'm spent on ideas. I haven't been kicked from a dungeon in df yet thankfully, but I'm afraid if I can't get back in and need to restart my pc mid dungeon, I might.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums

We apologize for the delay in our response to your concern. Could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

I think I figured it out on my own, my motherboard is borked and won't let my ram go above 1866 mhz, because throttling it to that fixed it. I thought it was the ram at first, but after replacing the ram it still had the same issue.

So I guess when ffxiv demanded too much ram my computer closed it instead of blue screening, but then it started to blue screen after a week of doing that.
