There is a difference between selling people the chance to get faster to endgame content and selling people (or them buying themself) through actual content.

The idea is you are charging people to not play the game. Great for the devs, but it's not worth it for you. In even encourages video game devs to make games worse so they can get you to pay to not play it. It is an absolute waste of money to engage with this practice.

That's why my house is so empty. I've only engaged in those mechanics a few times since I got it, but I in it once a week (when the demolition timer is going on) to keep it. I'd pay money to not have to engage in the last part though
