But would you pay extra for the pleasure to not do dungeons? Would you pay extra to not do hunts? Would you pay extra to not talk to your FC? Would you pay extra to not have a house? How much are you willing to pay to not play the game?Or you know, people play this game for different reasons and enjoy different aspects of the game. I myself hardly ever go into dungeons, i will if someone in fc needs to run something, but outside of that you will hardly find me in them.
I use hunt trains to get my tomes for the week. I have more fun in the ex trials and savage and crafting/gathering. Should i quit the game because i dont find the leveling part fun, and much rather jump a job i want to try out in endgame conntent? Also some jobs are just dreadful to level up, but seem fun at max levels. To some of us it is worth it to jump a job up so we can use it in end game with friends instead of slogging through all the levels, should we quit the game?
Paying extra to not have to do dungeons, sure. The rest no, but I am sure someone would, and that's the thing it is a personal choice. Just because someone doesn't enjoy a certain aspect of the game asnd instead choses to use an option to circumvent that part of the game, an option that SE is giving them, doesn't mean they should quit the game.
Also those examples you listed aren't good examples because you already (with the exception of dungeons) have the option not to do them. Don't like hunts?, just don't do them, don't want to talk to your fc?don't join one or just don't chat in fc chat. Don't want a house? Just don't buy one. But with leveling a job you do have to do it or pay extra to skip that part.

Yes
Yes
Depends
But I want a house, I'm willing to pay to not get it demolished without me going in there
Depends on the content
Only content i really care for in this game is raiding tbh fam.

I said pay extra to not have a house. Will you pay extra for the pleasure to not engage in housing mechanics?
The idea is you are charging people to not play the game. Great for the devs, but it's not worth it for you. In even encourages video game devs to make games worse so they can get you to pay to not play it. It is an absolute waste of money to engage with this practice.

I want to keep my house without engaging in any of the mechanics as a flex
That's why my house is so empty. I've only engaged in those mechanics a few times since I got it, but I in it once a week (when the demolition timer is going on) to keep it. I'd pay money to not have to engage in the last part though![]()

Sure, it's not like people skip to do exactly these things. Doing actual content with their friends, instead of them just waiting for the poor soul getting through all of ARR, HW and Stormblood. Seriously, for these people the skips are a blessing, especially if you are just into PvE/PvP and not the story itself. And yeah there are many players who just do not care about the story at all.
So idk what you wanted to say but i know for sure it didn't made sense at all.
There is a difference between selling people the chance to get faster to endgame content and selling people (or them buying themself) through actual content. It's also nice to have for alts, i boosted some alts through the story cause i don't want to play ARR like 7 times.
