SE already knows we're short on housing. Saying "We need housing, 5,040 houses per server is not enough to fit the average 24,000 characters on NA servers" is legitimate feedback. And they are listening.

Players who own houses currently are not the problem. Naming and shaming isn't the solution. If you think another player has broken the rules, report them so GMs can investigate.

Players who own houses currently aren't the problem if they aren't abusing the system like this FC has done. This IS a problem. Under what section would this even be reportable?

You said you reported it. You said GMs told you 'no violation has occurred.' So what is the problem? You don't like it? I don't like losing rolls. I don't like not being at gil cap. Doesn't make those things rules.

Those things do not affect anyone other than you, the housing wards are supposed to be there for everyone. Not for one person to buy up and use as their personal damn miniature city. And that doesn't make the GMs immediately right. As my mother has asked me many a time, if someone in a position of authority told you to jump off a bridge would you not question it?

Even if it's not technically against the rules, I do think it's kinda messed up to hoard an entire housing ward like that for the sake of having a "personal RP city". It's a bit selfish, is it not?

I don't wish them grief, but I do wish they'd be a little more mindful of others, considering how limited housing is in this game. I know things aren't always "fair", and that this is quite a first-world problem, but that doesn't make it any less rude.

It'd be great if Square added more housing to try and alleviate this, but I don't think it'd help much considering mass-buying wards like this is relatively common...
