Would you like to see a texture update?

Any large graphical overhaul would likely come at the expense of an entire expansion. Honestly, if it came down to it i'd rather they just focus on a new MMO if they want something with shiny new graphics.

I never really cared that much about textures in FF14, but I couldn't help but notice it was kinda glaring in 5.3 (like others have mentioned) when it came to the Exarch. It was the very first time in the over 5 years I've played the game that my eyes and brain couldn't ignore how pixelated the crystalization effect was.

From what I know, due to the game being made from the 1.0 code they said updating the game graphically would be a complete overhaul and take a ton of resources.

Considering I play between a higher end PC and PS4, I wouldn't mind. But it's mmo business to be able to run on the most popoto of laptops for the broadest reach of money.

Maybe but please don't give flowerpots more polygons than our charactermodels. I wish our charactermodels would get upgrades, our armpits are literally a 3 polygons masacre.

Perhaps not, but when seen they're no less obvious than, say, if our fingers were a collective rectangular prism differentiated only by normal lighting maps. That our resident potatoes can hide them doesn't always make them okay.

I'd love to see a texture update but I don't expect S.E. to do it. It'll amount to an overhaul of the entire game ((with its multiple expansions.))

With that said, maybe it could be done via Nvida GE Force.

The graphics are sufficient to keep the game as enjoyable as it currently is. I see no reason to need this change, and wouldn't mind if it was never done.

We gamers get too fixated on graphics over quality of story or gameplay.
