Fatal DirectX Error 1100002

Hi! My brand new PC (received today) keeps getting Fatal DirectX Error 1100002 error every time I open the game.

I've done the following:
- Redownloaded & Reinstalled XIV (I even tried the benchmark, same thing)
- Limited the fps and Limited performance via Nvidia and FFXIV Client
- Displayed all overlays inc. Nvidia Experience
- Updated Graphics Card Drivers
- Changed to "Prefer maximum performance" via Nvidia
- Disabled Antivirus Software
- Run in Windows 7 Compatibility & Administrator
- Turned off one of my monitors
- Changed the setting in FFXIV.cfg

I'm at a lost of what to do next, I never had this issue on my last computer. I'm not expecting much but.. I'm tired and I'm drawing a blank on what to do next. :/

The error message is Fatal DirectX Error 1100002. No, nothing is overheating.

i'm having the same issue. I've tried format my pc, reinstall the game numerous times, turn off any sobreposition in the game, i don't use any mods or add-ons. I even tried to underclock my VGA. Until now, there is no winning here. I'm playing in DX9, but the optmization is terrible.

We apologize for the delay in responding. We would also like to recommend several other troubleshooting steps:

1) Disable any additional programs that could cause interference with the game itself including chat programs. Also, remove any custom configurations made using graphics driver-level programs
2) Remove any mods or injectors from the game or system
3) Turn off Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game (normally found in the install folder), right-click it and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Compatibility' tab, check the box labeled 'Disable Fullscreen Optimizations', then click 'Apply'.
4) Remove any unnecessary USB or audio devices (controllers, headphones, flash drives etc.)
5) Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card
6) Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything
