The GPose Feature request megathread

Like my last megathread this is is centered on making requests for a non-combat related feature, this time its for the Group Pose feature.

And for that I feel like the first avenue would be expansion of two sub features, Stickers (Like for the Eorzean Alphabet, other minions and something like that the Boss intro text that appeared since Stormblood) and Filters

It would be nice to be able to select a skill from a list like emotes, since a lot of them require combat in order to do them at all (and ones like LB require very specific situations).

Also, more freedom of motion for the camera. Being locked to a target isn't great, and the amount you can pan the camera any one way is really restricted.

Animation scrubber.
I'm pretty ok with timing, but I'm kind of tired of trying to time my animation pauses to get to the frame I want to snapshot. It'd be nice to just scroll through a timeline for each character.
(though I'd prefer to be able to just manually pose characters like some modding tools do, but I understand the distrust SE would have with such tools.)

I must say that most of the things I wanted have been implemented, so I'm very happy with this camera system already and I have a lot of fun with it (>w<)
Still, if I might make some requests, here are some because dreaming costs no money:


-Select the time of the day and weather (I can't count how many screenshot sessions have been ruined because I had to leave gpose for a sec).

-Select my partner's emote, not just my own! This is the main reason why I always have to leave gpose for a moment, resulting in a huge change of weather and light. Alas, screenshot session tends to be ruined.

-I doubt this will be implemented, but being able to actually move the characters' X and Y would be super good. I've seen this done in Dragon Raja.

-Another thing I saw in Dragon Raja, an animatiom timeline, which you can pause, move forward or move backward.

Come to think of it, an auto rotating camera might also be a good idea for emulating Bad Wolfy's videos.

My main gpose asks would be:

• Animation scrubber - please, this pause/unpause game is so tiring
• Free camera - still in a confined area, just able to unlock from a target
• Let the photographer select animations for party members and/or friends if they have opted into allowing others to choose their poses in /gpose

An option like "Allow other players to freely animate my character in /gpose" would save so much time for everyone involved.

One thing I forgot. I would like special weather like the Diadem's to be use-able regardless of location. Skyboxes in all the colors are hard to come by and it would be very useful for color coded glamours

My ultimate desire would be to have a proper poser added in so that we don't need to go down the list of animations to find the right one for the right situation. However I also realize it's a pipe dream and VERY unlikely to happen, so instead I'll throw my hat into also asking for an animation scrubber as well as a few more filters to adjust the colors/contrast.

Combat actions and LBs, including removed actions or actions blocked via out-levelling them (like machinist's non-Heated attacks).

Adjustable time and weather, including special weather conditions like Tension (Odin's weather).

Ability to pose enemies in the shot, even if simple poses like attack animations.

I second the idea of having the ability to use combat actions - without needing to be in combat.
Honestly, lots of good requests in this thread - weather options, enemies to add in (without actual combat), allowing changes to other party members' emotes.
I'd also suggest the ability to put in alts from our account that are on the same data centre in the scene.
