yes, basically his argument was that existence and everything included in it:

Eisenstein's theory of relativity went on to reinforce this idea.

Is it? I do not actually know of many games where you can change gear in combat. In fact, I only know of one- FFXI.Gear Swapping is common in RPGs.
Having different gear for different situations itself is not unusual- but having different gear fore very action your character can undertake is pretty much exclusive to FFXI.
Unless they've changed it, you can't swap gear while in combat in WoW. You can't do it in this game. You can't do it in MapleStory, Vindictus, Mabinogi, you can't do it in most offline RPGs that I've played, and for those where you can it's usually cumbersome to the point where it's not worth it because the game doesn't have macros for equpping stuff.
What well-known and widely played MMORPG other than FFXI lets you swap gear at any time, including in combat?
The main reason I don't like gear swapping is it's an inventory nightmare. you might have dozens of pieces of gear that your character only wears for a split second, and that fills up your inventory fast.
It's also illogical and unrealistic (yes I know it's a fantasy game but still) that you can change clothes in a blink of an eye, while simultaneously swinging a sword or casting a spell.
It makes actual upgrades to your "main" gear hard to find, since allowing situational gear means you have tons and tons of items that are terrible except for one purpose, so you encounter far more side-grades than true upgrades.
It doesn't really add anything to the game IMO.

The other side fails to get attention. That being how do you prove your existence to someone else's reality? That's the fun part. I can end your existence to prove my own. If you exist because you think you do then that doesn't mean you actually do. You need to have an effect on someone else's reality before you can actually be credited with existence. Unless you wish to only exist within your own reality, regardless of how real it is.
Precision Peptaru,!
If we both agree you exist , and we both agree I exist, then we do....we came to a concesus that we are in each other's reality.
I DONT agree with the OP's reality that gear swapping is fun, nessacry, or any other number of points. I just don't agree, thus his points are not part of my reality.....there is nothing we can share reality wise.....so there are no FACTS.
For instance if we both agreed that gear swapping was awesome and we liked it, then we could establish some facts about it....like what hat was best to wear for casting thundara etc.....
But with no agreement on existence all other points are moot.....
So why stop at gear swapping? Why not change classes/jobs mid battle. We can be just like FF10-2! Dress Spheres for everyone!!

I love Dress-up....can we have pink ponies to ride on for better curing then switch to a black tyranasaurous for better nuking magic?!!
that would be awesome!!!

Mount swapping, it's like being a swinger only better!!!!
I actually thought it would have been cool with the following limits:
1) You can only change jobs, not classes. So any given class is free to their respective jobs, and back to their class. A THM could go to BLM, or back to THM, etc etc.
2) Changes have a mandatory cooldown...something like 30 seconds or whatever. Not much thought placed in this number, just to prevent it from being too abused.
3) You cannot change from job->job, only class -> job, or job -> class.
More or less it allows you to switch your job crystals on and off mid-battle, but does not allow you to change your class mid-battle. Job should also be given their own gear slots. As in if switch from lnc to drg, whatever gear I had assigned to DRG would be automatically equipped. More or less game would associate your equipment with your class/job, rather than with your player. Its basically just remembering what you last had on for a specific class/job.
You know what also is limiting and could be fun to change, the food buff!
So let have food buff swapping!
You eat two foods and can swap the food buff whenever you want. I can have my nuking buff and healing buff at the same time!!!
