Blue Mage is Destroying the fates fun

I havent even touched BLU, and I absolutely LOVE having BLUs rip the FATEs apart for me! Seriously, I show up, land 2-3 attacks, the boss is already dead, I got my medal, we rush to the next one.

This has never been so easy/better! I can honestly say im finally glad BLU is being useful for once!
(Ill be honest, sometimes i dont wait for the BLUs to make the kill, I just rush to the next fate after 3 GCDs)

Honestly, BLU just needs something other than being useful once in a "blue" moon (couldn't resist). Got BLU to max and....never touched it again.

I wonder if you will come back and post again when you run into two or more blu mages in one fate and can't land a hit at all.

the trick is to play a class with decent aoe (dancer is real common foe that, dark knight has large aoes as well, healers should already be adept in using target-of-target to pop things other people--such as your problematic blue mages--are looking at, warrior has mithril tempest, black mage still has it's aoe ice spell, etc etc etc), and go to where the mobs spawn to tag things (yknow, efficient behaviors expected of farm parties already)

half of fate bosses are outright immune to death spells and the majority of other "OP" debuffs as well (those that aren't you're sadly SOL on, but honestly they shouldn't be doing that if they have any manners--which is a person problem not a class one), so you might see someone cheeky taking off half their health with missile, but instant death is a rarity so not getting a chance to tag them with the remaining 50% would be on you i'd think.

Apperently Prey Online (the achievement fate you get the Ultima Horns from) is not immune to the spells it should be, and a recent spawn on my server caused over half the people there in parties not with BLUs to get literally nothing. There are other achievement fates that also don't have the immunity but they spawn pretty frequently to not worry about it (See: the one in Central Highlands you get the minion from)but this one spawns so rarely I find it kind of a slap in the face to any new players wanting the achievement or horns for glamour.

Otherwise I don't have too much of a problem with BLUs at the fates, usually if you use a class with fast aoe and are in a party you can get a gold.

This is my first "Yokai Watch" event so feel free to correct me if I am wrong but it is my understanding that you have to get a "silver" or "gold" rating to even have the chance of the legendary medals dropping.

I understand BLU is a limited job and there are a lot that they are not allowed to do and because of that, it makes the job frustrating.

Having said that I can only think of a couple possible solutions.

1) Make it so Blue mages don't get any yokai medals from the event, (worst case scenario for BLU and it might breed more toxicity)

2) If they could "temporarily" have the specific one or two shot abilities tweaked a bit during the FATES not saying a major tweak just a little one, so that everyone blue mages included will be able to participate enough and not want to pull their hair out trying to make it to the FATE before it's over, this way everyone can get their medals.

Now I'm not saying outside of the FATES those abilities could be weakened just the FATES and just during the event.Though I am not sure if that is possible from a developer stand point.

3) Last idea (though pretty ridiculous) that wouldn't nerf the Blue mage class is to let everyone start blue mage at 60 upon finishing it's intro quest.

You would still have to learn spells from certain dungeon enemies but at 60 you could probably do some of them solo unsynched.

Problem with this idea is with so many Blue mages, finding active FATES would be almost impossible and it seems like it might be a slap in the face to players that went through the trouble of grinding from 1 to 60 and filling up their spell book.

Anyway this is all I can think of right now for ideas, if anyone has suggestions where everyone can walk away happy and be able to participate in the event, that would be awesome, but looking at this realistically I am not sure if that is possible.

I usually see a LOT more than 2 BLUs. At least 5~.
But you forget that I can just add them to my group, and get their credit...
Plus I have riding speed, and can get to most FATEs before them. If anything it takes a while for them to get there and proceed to obliterate the boss.

Why? I gained 6 level on BLU with this event.
