    General Combat improvement: Enemy Casting Bars.

    Hello, i am making another suggestion to improve the combat in this game.

    Lets talk about casting bars, i find it rather impractical to have enemy casting bars only on top of the screen above their health bar.



    There should be a second smaller bar under (or over) their health bar above the enemies head as well, example:

    In addition, if an ability can be interrupted the cast bar should have a different color, this would help especially newer players to know if they can interrupt a cast or not. After a while i removed the Interrupt ability from my hot bar because it would never work until i needed it for one story fight in Shadowbringers, where i died because i didn't know i could interrupt the spell.

    1.) You can split enemyHP/targetHP from enemy status and enemy cast bar and position them freely on your screen by selecting the UI option in HUD layout to do so, allowing you to put it in a more convinient spot for you to see it.
    2.) Coloring is personal taste, imo the pulsating cast bar does the job fairly fine for me.
    3.) Doesn't do a whole lot on the HP bar above the boss if you position the cast bar below it. Interesting maybe in multi-target scenarios, but otherwise rather mediocre if not outright useless depending on the size / height of an enemy's parameters.

    I play the game for about 4 months now and have never noticed the bar to pulse, are you against any improvement of the gameplay in general or what exactly is your argument here? if you don't like additional cast bars you can still turn them off in your menu.

    In general the players eyes are already on the enemy,it is less awkward to see the mob casting than to look up at the health bar all the time to see what the enemy is casting.

    Interruptable actions have a pulsing outline.




    This setting lets you split the target bar so that the cast bar can be placed and sized independently. You might benefit from placing it somewhere more prominent. Sorry, I'm not running the German client so I don't know what this says on your screen. But it's the settings window for the Target Info HUD element.
