At some points they use the word "Raid" for normal four-man dungeons as well.
Eh... sort of. When you unlock Sastasha it does open up an Active Help about "Instanced Raids" and "Cleaning Instanced Raids" to talk about how instanced content work. These help texts don't mention anything about the type of content at all, although it's definitely implied that all instanced content is called a raid, though, so that might be briefly confusing? It definitely wouldn't make people think that 24-man content is harder because it's called a raid, regardless of any confusion it might cause of what difficulty a raid is. If anything it would be the opposite if they think Sastasha is a raid because of that help text. But everything after that, the duty finder and party finder, in particular, refers to 4-person content as either a dungeon or a guildhest so whatever confusion over 4 person content is called is quickly squashed.
I think they meant 8-person.

Cid isn't in the Crystal Tower series, so, within the context of the post, was excluded. Why bring it up at all when this is about the Crystal Tower being faceroll?

Seems like someone thinks that those old and dusty 24-man raids that only require you to have 1 braincell to complete in about 20 minutes are the same as Savage raids. Luckily, it's not the case. I don't think SE would lock people out of MSQ with extremely hard content.
Also I don't understand why CT quests weren't a requrement to start 5.0. Considering that we get a bit of extra lore and extra FEELS during ShB with the additional dialog options if we complete CT quests before doing 5.0 MSQ it's really a shame that a lot of people missed them and probably don't even know those additional dialogs exist.

It definitely seems like pre-5.0 would have been the better point to force it - though I wonder if they always intended to make it a requirement for future plot or only made their mind up on that bit later once the story was well-received.Also I don't understand why CT quests weren't a requrement to start 5.0. Anyway, at least it's required much earlier now - being required before you complete 2.X - so it won't be a problem for future players. I also noticed they tweaked the cutscene viewer so the "reflect quest progression" setting is on by default, so it'll play (essentially) the canon version of the scene automatically instead of only if you remember to turn it on.

all I can add is that syrcus tower is faster than some expert roulettes.

I do understand apprehension to raids, for example if you came from WOW or something.
But FF14 alliance raid at least up to SB generally is face roll content. The bosses that do require strategy have been done many times by most people in the raid. The queues are very fast around reset.
It’s just not that big of a deal and it’s actually very epic and some of them are really fun. You might die, get res and die again, but this happens to everyone so I say go with some friends and enjoy the epic FF bosses.
