Hi. If this has been brought up before, you can call me lazy for not bothering to skim through all the 6000+ threads on the Feedback, but here we are.

Anyway, so I bought a house ages back and finally started doing something with it, but it reminded me of an issue(in my opinion it is, at least) and made me regret that I bought a house in Goblet. Should've bought it in the Mists or Shirogane instead.

The issue I speak of are these dumb vertical 'stripes' at the edges of Glade and Oasis Partitions, both the default ones as well as blanks and doors. None of the other wall partition models have these. I imagine the intention was to make the styles to stand out more, be more unique, but I just find them irritating because they break the patterns on these partitions. There's just no way to make them look smart. And yet you're pretty much stuck with them.

If I want to get rid of them I'd either need to move to Shirogane or Mists as their designs don't have these, but considering how limited housing is just about anywhere...

I don't consider covering up the static walls that make up the borders of the interior with for example Riviera Partitions entirely a feasible option either because it's a huge waste of furniture limit.

So here are a few suggestions I was thinking of.

1. Just outright remove those stripes on Glade/Oasis designs. Simple.

2. Make the interior walls change according to the exterior design. Let's say you change the exterior design to Glade, and voila, your interior static walls are Glade as well.

3. Make the wall option in the Remodel Interior menu to change the wall MODEL as well, not just the texture. Or make the model change a separate option in the menu so that you don't have to ponder which of the four model designs you attach to all the non-cultural wallpapers(Country, Palace of the Dead, etc.).

So there's my elephant in the room. It'd be nice to get this addressed, with potentially very simple changes. Or at least the first suggestion is, I think. Not really keen on either just having to 'deal with it' and grump every time I look at my walls or then compete with dozens of others for that one plot freeing up at some point somewhere, in a distant galaxy far, far away. Not to mention paying +3mil gil or more to be rid of such a small thing.

PS: And while I'm at it, those pillars in the static interior walls with their extended collision are quite vexing.

Many thanks.
