Blu never was an issue before and in 1-2 Weeks it won´t be a issue again.
If its not the BLU then everyone would seek something else to blame their own impatience for.

Just don´t do the event now. You gain nothing by doing it now when everyone else is does it.
You have so much time and later you are happy about the friendly BLU player who speedkills the fate with you.


I´m really worryed that SE will make the BLU unplayable in the overworld just because you blame him for a problem that already existed the first yokai events.

The difference is, BLU wasn't around the first time. And ARR fates simply aren't equipped to deal with BLU and a massive upsurge in activity. Ultimately it is on SE for creating this issue, but it is an issue nonetheless. I don't think that BLU should be made unplayable, but I do feel that instantly killing, or near instantly killing, fate bosses and the like is just bad design when one takes other people into account. Let them do damage just like everyone else, not break every fate to pieces the moment they enter one.

But that's the thing that makes the BLU so special and enjoying.
The unbelievable things you can do with him.
The only reason I will farm the fates for the event is the BLU, because I don't want to kill 100+ fates with a dull 1-2-3 combo. I want the special, funny and enjoying Boom of a BLU that makes him OP.
Believe it or not but I want to have fun playing this game and not only gain a bigger number as fast as possible.

And like I said, it is just now a problem, when every selfish idiot is doing the fates. Just wait a few weeks and you will be fine. Then you won't even fill a full group for fates.
It has been like this the last time and will be this time again.
Just don't do it the first and last 2 weeks.

One of my FC mates tried using Doom on a FATE boss, and was threatened to be reported for "immersion breaking"

Hope you can get them, don't worry about rushing too much through HW (since you could just get the weapon in the first SB area) since you have quite a bit of time.

So, as long as I have the first open world area open for Stormblood, I can obtain all of the event weapons and goodies without having to do the entire Stormblood story? If thats so, that's amazing news! Thank you very very much!

I remember when people actually argued for the exact opposite, not understanding why BLU wasn't allowed to queue for whatever and kill everything with their Death skills. Fun times.

Eh, I've always felt that it should have been more in line with other jobs anyway instead of all this Limited Job nonsense. BLU struggles in some ways and excels in others. I don't blame people for wanting to use it for Fate grinding, but there is so much potential for conflict. Some would say "Just don't do it right now" or "lol let us have our fun". Well, the same could be said in return. What is happening right now is a conflict of interest, or a difference in playstyles. I may feel a certain way, but neither side really has the right to decide how the other should play, and depending on one's perspective a playstyle is being forced from one side on the other, but it goes both ways. Ultimately, it is up to SE to decide what happens.

Just finished it. All of it, all 17 weapons. I actually didn't want to do it all on day 1 but it gets kind of addicted: "one more fate", "I'll just finish this weapon" "oh, I can do this minion in this area too so I will just continue for a while..."

So since I don't have access to any expansion areas yet, I wont be able to get the RDM, SAM, GNB or DNC Yo Kai weapons, correct? That really doesn't seem fair. This feels like a totally rushed event, in my opinion.

Ah yes, I am in the same boat I think. Still not finished the 2.2 quests to get to HW/SB. I might get to HW around level 60 and before the event ends and have most weapons, but there is no way I will get SB to grind the final two weapons, so won't get the DNC weapon and second mount.

It is what it is. It's still fun to the stage we can do, and I don't feel bad about it.

DNC at least can get some shots in in the low level fates, SMN/WHM also works with just dots When the numbers drop down, I will be able to RDM them, a bit hard now to even get off a spell.

Sooooooo much easier this time around. It feels like they buffed drop rates and if I'm not imagining it lowered the amount weapons cost. Did the 4 new ones in like 2 hours and got the couch pretty easily.
