On the whole subject of BLU, what's aggravating people is that BLU aren't subject to the same restrictions every other class is regarding fates, they can walk into any fate and still have their full roster of abilities active, whereas any other class can be reduced to maybe 7 or 8 abilities excluding role abilities, so it's a case of being lucky enough to have the right ability active to compete with a BLU at low levels.

And the price for that is not being able to do roulettes, squadrons, PotD, Eureka, anything past HW, etc, etc.

This is SO much better than it used to be. Granted, I only ever tried it on the first run of it, which was pure hell. I'm not sure if they had buffed it when they brought it back the first time. But this! This is nice and easy. I've finished up five minions tonight, and my worst so far took 27 fates to clear. My quickest was 15.

A right, because you were happy to have a blu in your group who reduces the time needed for for a run to under 10 min.

Playing is the abuse of an exploit.

At least if you want to put words I didn't say in my mouth, do it as stupidly as possible.

And since when did I had a BLU in my group? The only time I grouped was when I accepted an invitation and when I realised a BLU was in, I didn't group again.

Having access to flying also gives a massive advantage over some players. Is this an exploit too?

People can get around that limitation by grouping up with someone with a 2-person mount. Just like people can get around all the various BLUs by grouping up with them.

Stop being selfish the blue mages destroying fates will likely make another player only get bronze if they are lucky.

But really, this. There are skills that won't obliterate mobs, use them. Try and be at least a little considerate of your fellows players.

Just a little aside about my adventures from yesterday. I cleared 7 weapons, so I was at it for a while, but in one zone people wouldn't stop screaming about BLUs killing everything. The issue wasn't so much people on BLU, but just that there was a huge amount of players running around zerging all the FATEs and so if you showed up the tiniest bit late, good chance you weren't getting gold. If things are dying quickly, it's not always the fault of a BLU.

BLU is a limited job so all other classes/jobs won't compete with it on regular content.
FATE farming events are regular content.

Doing FATE farming events with BLU is an exploit.

BLU was intended to be powerful in open-world content and restricted in instanced/roulette content. Remind me, where are FATEs, instances or the open world?

FATEs are still FATEs during FATE farming events
The devs allowed BLU to do whatever they want in FATEs for over two years.

Using BLU in this is as much of an exploit as cross-server hunts.
