Drop rate: meh
first 5 weapon tokens in a row, then drop rate faaaaaaaaaaalls. 10th weapon token took more than 10 fates.

I got 297 Yo-kai Medal while farming 10 Legendary Medals for 15 weapons.
I got between 13 and 26 Yo-kai Medals per weapons, mostly around 18-22.
Which gave me an average of one Legendary Medals every 2 Yo-kai Medal I obtained.

So how many low-level FATES you need for the last mount?
Can't think of a less exciting content to do right now so I'd love to know if it is really doable without dying of boredom

For the new weapons you have to do FATEs in HW and SB-areas, so not absolutly low level FATEs.
As far as I can tell right now you also only need 10 legendary medals for each of the new weapons - I got my dancer-weapon after less than an hour and the amount I need for the next weapons didnt increase (it might after the second, I dont know that yet.)

I'm listening to a podcast while doing those FATEs, its very managable. By far not as bad as getting the first 13 back in the good old days...

Heres a cheat sheet on using blu to cheese the fate bosses, speeds things up considerably.

BLU does pretty great in general for any but the Stormblood fates, simply due to not losing all of its skills.

FATEs are over-hunted. As a WHM I usually can place a DOT and target is dead already.
So, please let every players have a chance. Don't take FATEs for yourselves.

Unfortunately FATEs can be just like hunts, i.e. belonging to no one; so players will handle them however they please whether someone else needs it or not. The first week will be lots of activity so might be good to wait for it to die down a little, also if you're a night owl then doing FATEs late at night is good too because of less players being online at that time.

I get Gold most of the time: it seems my dots are enough... so I think if everyone there does about the same, ie. what their synced jobs let them do, they also get gold. Which is fine.
On the other hand, if BLU have access to overpowered skills even when synced, it's an unfair advantage over everybody else. I'm just stating that.
