Even trolls manage to spark constructive debate among other players on occasion.
It's just not going to happen this time.
I've definitely heard IP restricted houses proposed before. It's not a good idea.
Reasons why:
-Capitalism. SE is not going to punish or limit people for owning a second account, because people are paying full price for that account. Have two subs = be eligible for two houses. Working as intended.
-Families. If you have one house per IP, couples who play together must choose which spouse gets a house. If 2 or more of your kids play, they get to fight over which one gets a house.
-Roommates. "I've got ask before I move in, do you own a house on final fantasy? Because I can't be on your IP if you do."
-Proxy servers. Easy workaround makes the rule meaningless
