Razer THX Spatial echo sound problem.

Hey guys,

i got a problem with the Razer THX sound, ingame the sound effects are rly nice but the big problem are the voices of the chars, they sound like a metallic echo and i wonder if somebody else have or had this problem and got a solution for it?

I have a new Razer Kraken (kitty edition, with full THX) I do not have this issue. But something I have noticed on my last 3 Razer Purchases, the quality has gone way down.

Probably an issue with the surround. Voices play through the "center" speaker, and if your surround settings don't have that set right, you don't hear voices well.

Can confirm the issue has to do with Surround Settings. I upgraded my headset to a Razer Nari and the metallic echo has been a bugbear ever since.

You need to go into Synapse and go into the Audio Tab and then Mixer settings. This window has all your current programs that use the PC's sound, with an Output dropdown box. Change that box to Stereo and you eliminate the metallic noise.

The THX Environmental Surround sounds really damn good with positional audio placement, But they need to fix that echo.
