The OP used the earrings that give 30 % more XP til level 70 and he has the road to 70 buff. And with the road to 70 buff alone you outlevel MSQ pretty quickly.yeah that's my understanding of it. that you should be able to keep up with the MSQ through the experience it provides.
I decided to pick up my lvl 35 alt to see for myself. Still had to do fates bc i would always end up at X level and 99% and i would be locked out of the MSQ. I was, quite often, barely having enough exp for the next MSQ. However once I did Stone Vigil I suddenly jumped 2 levels and that is no longer an issue. It's... a bit weird but i'm not complaining. I haven't really noticed overleveling as of yet but that character needs to be played more until it's noticeable i think.
Yeah the Road to 70 buff is the big one there. I was wondering when I came across this thread if they had it but that buff alone makes you out level stuff amazingly fast even without the 30% earrings.
If a new player was just playing normally w/o the buff or exp items, I imagine they would still run into a few spots where they would need to grind out some exp to continue.
This looks like it's just largely because there's a strange leap near the end of ARR quests, from 46 to 49. So, MSQ Might be enough to keep you on pace, but that's a big jump for quests to take. One you don't ever really see elsewhere. ARR's quest pacing and spacing looks incredibly awkward. Might be something hopefully the devs come back to look at and smooth out how long quests spend at each level range. (example: currently four quests at 35, six at 36, one at 37, four at 38, three at 39, etc. Very all over the place.)
I thought this, too, but then I considered, preferred worlds are kinda intended for new players to gravitate to, so, it might be that new players will be running with the buff more than not.Yeah the Road to 70 buff is the big one there.
