Hinting at New Jobs? [ Small Spoilers for Patch 5.3 ]

In the beginning of the MSQ we meet a girl called

Riqi-Tio and she mentions becoming a potion using Apothecary how travels the world and the 2 new dungeon bosses the necromancer and beserker

seem like hinting at possible jobs in 6.0 but hey it may just be looking a tad to much into potential bait.

The Chemist tease seems pretty genuine. I think the rest are a bit of a stretch though. They seemed to be warriors/creations from other shards, so Necromancer could have been, say, SMN on another world, and Berserker could have been another world's WAR.

Don't forget, the new duty (SPOILERS) also has a common enemy you fight called "ink mage."

She was just the cutest thing, and yes apothecary would be fun.

"Ink mages" just seem to be arcanists.

The apothecary stuff seemed to have a lot of time and conversation dedicated to it if it's not meant to be a tease. It could just be intended as part of the "look at how you can help people without running off to be a hero" theme to the interactions with the kids, but the specific mention of travelling and healing people seemed like it might be intended as a setup.

Not having played 5.3 yet, this is conjuring the weirdest mental images.

Necromancer will never happen due to the job never being able to be released in china as they have laws about disrespecting the dead or something like that.
Even the skeleton monsters have new models just for them I heard.
Also...necromancer just doesn't seem like a hero would do so it wouldn't fit with lore honestly. We couldn't be a thief for that very reason and being a necromancer would be WAY worst than that.
But about the miqo'te girl, yeah that seems like it was hinting hard on a new healer using potions to heal.

Apothecary(chemist) seems like a no brainer here. They really focused in on it. I was like, "Sweet, chemist confirmed."

Yeah Ink Mage is just a fancy way of saying Arcanist or any of it's divergent classes. Apothecary seems like the biggest chance at an actual new job reveal we've gotten, and while I could see Berserker maybe getting it's own job down the line it's entire schtick is way too close to WAR's for me to see it as an active contender. Same with Necromancer honestly, though mostly because like Vayn said it'd be a pain for them to actually reskin that class for the Chinese version of the game. Though not impossible.

I'm heartily looking forward to throwing potions at you people come 6.0 if this proves to be a proper hint at Apothecary becoming the next job. <3 Do mind the glass.
