They look cool but are they all better than the other weapons
you can craft, buy on Wards or Find in dungeons?

Besides, it seem your mind is very much set on that All classes
have & can equip Ifrits harpoon.... you missing the point.

Just like the gobbue mount, ppl starting in 2.0 cant get that mount...
it will then become rare / unique in a way.

Thats what most mmo's are about, have something special.
So either way some of us couldnt care less if you dont have it becasue you dont want or like it.

Like i said before, if you dont like it...the option is there for you & me not to use / get it.

Every game with multiple mounts has lesser and better mounts. Ones that are easy to get but slower and some faster and more rare. Some are rare just for the visual. All the other mmos proved that these are popular, so S-E decided to follow the trend. It's not because we got chocobo breeding that the other mounts will all suck compared to it.

I chose my mount depending on what it looks like, Chocobos are nice but if rather ride a dragon with my dragoon then ill go for that. Plus i don't see a Chocobo flying, it will just look awkward.
