RDM totally deserves a set of red Onion Knight armor!

Maybe it's just me, but when I think of FF3, I think of the Red Mage. Maybe it's because the Onion Knight from the Dissidia games feels so much like a Red Mage to me, or even just because his armor is red. Whatever the case, I just honestly feel like it's a set that would look PERFECT for the Red Mage!

Just my two cents.

Don't forget in Dissidia they have different versions of Red Mage gear for the other 'classes' you can change to while playing as him. I remember mage and ninja for sure of it

I'm good really any way about it. I just really dig the idea of the Onion Knight armor on my Red Mage, as I find their default and Job sets to be... well, a little bit bland. Still cool, and a distinctive personality! But not really my jam.

Red Mage is Disciple of Magic. DoM, according to Yoshi P and gear design team, can only wear black robes. So sorry, not possible.

I feel it's necessary to point out that Onion Knight and Red Mage are completely different things...

As for Onion Knight gear, the 1.0 collectors edition gave an all-class blue Onion Helm. It ain't red, but if you find an old code you can still get the helmet.

Not true. The blue Onion Helm is useable by all classes and Jobs that is level 1 gear (it was a bonus that came with the Collector's Edition of FFXIV 1.0) - you're thinking of the Onion Mask which is the Labyrinth of the Ancients DRG gear face piece. The Onion Helm is a totally different piece of gear that all classes can wear.

You need to up your glam game. My DoM classes wear nothing but red. >w>
