DEV: difficulty finding HQ items

Im having a lot of trouble finding, and in some cases selling +1 items in the market wards. Today I was looking for some darksteel ore +1, there were 50 postings on the ward for darksteel ore, but only the cheapest 20 posted.

Of course the NQ versions are the cheapest, so it effectively makes buying and selling HQ items, in some cases, impossible.

Please update us on when a solution to this will be applied. Thanks!

Have you tried typing in Search? Don't know if it recognise +1 or not but macro does so maybe.

It doesn't work, sadly. Would be very useful, though.

yeah support that definitely need a way to find hq items in wards

I believe if you use search, that it picks up all results in that item rather than just the cheapest 20. I could be wrong but I can't check patch notes and type this on PS3.

No the search just Lists the item, so if you typed in Darksteel Ore, it will just show the Darksteel Ore, in the same way as if you navigated to it manually, then when you click it, it will only show NQ versions.

This is a huge flaw in the system, there is no way at all to just find HQ items, they need to add a filter checkbox or something to just display HQ items for the time being, its not hard, come on SE...

That's right, only the cheapest 20 show, and can't search +1. As FFXIV crafting moves toward using HQ mats more and more, it's critical to be able to buy/sell these items.

They need to list the HQ items independently from their NQ counterparts, it's really not that hard to do.
