If you can /pcmd add and kick from a distance you should be able to do the same with a linkshell, sometimes I think SE just make up excuses because they can't be bothered to address the problem.
They used to do the same in FF11.
Indeed maybe this issue hasn't been brought up by the JP speaking players much.
SE, you say you want to compete with Blizzard and/or have more than 100K subs, etc, this is not how you do it.
Coming in 2.0, with the rest of the miracles.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA EXILE
Your seed makes you strong.

CAT the bounty hunter o.Oi had a situation where i had no LS and was recruited specifically to hunt down this one dude. was made leader and i stayed around uldah with the linkshell off until i spotted him. a put the pearl on and kicked him for a 100k reward XD, still, its quite sad you have to resort to such trickery in order to oust undesirables.

I had to do this to someone before the server merge. I promoted a few other members and had a man hunt to exile the player. Found him within 15 minutes from the help of others and kicked him. We are not small so reforming would've been damaging. Good luck... hope it's not who I think it is since they moved there :P
Sorry to hear this Faz, use the search function to locate where he is n KICKHello,
A problem arose with a new member of our shell today, constant foul language, personal attacks, just plain bad behaviour. No names... not important.
But these comments and attacks could not be stopped!
The person was not in range therefore could not be Exiled. We looked around to try and locate them because we wanted to prevent further upset to our members. We made contact with the Square Enix support team, the condensed GM response : We will investigate but not disclose outcomes, recommend use blacklist.
This did not stop the offender from continuing to have access to our members, and unless we all blacklist not an effective solution. What would have fixed this situation much earlier and with fewer problems, is a Non-Ranged ability to Exile.
I feel this change should be implemented in-game immediately. I ask for Dev response, and I'm sure the community may have comments too...
Thanks, Faz.![]()

I fully support this request, and although there are many game deficiencies I can excuse, this isn't one of them, as it can affect the dynamic and health of a linkshell. This is especially important as in-game relationships are oft what keeps players returning to this crumby game.
/lcmd exile <player>
