Unreal is nicely tuned if you go in with a static or with previous EX / Savage tier players. But going in the random casual pugs (which would be what an unreal dungeon would be) is a lesson in frustration. After completing Shiva a few times now and seeing how nicely tuned it is, I think it would be cool if SE put in a small rotation of Unreal Dungeons alongside the trial.
This could also work as another way to get some more Faux Leves, since currently this looks like it's going to be a decently long grind for some really lacklustre rewards - however, the Unreal fight was great fun, so for once, it's something I'd continue to do without the goal just being a reward and I think having more content like this, such as Dungeons would be a good way to spend time in game.
I'm not sure what dungeon I would pick, but obviously, Aurum Vale jumps to mind
What are your thoughts?
That's at least been my experience with Shiva Unreal so far.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
