Seriously? They buffed the MSQ exp!?

Is it unfair that they wanted to have other people catch up that are behind you in story content?

Is it unfair to people like me who generally have just about level 80 in everything on content and before they buffed EXP in any expansion? I've had everything capped every expansion well before it comes to an end and the next is announced, my fiances managed to get full 80's before I did for the first time, and this was BEFORE THE LOCKDOWN. If they want to buff some EXP stuff for others to catch up so I have more people to play the game with, I'm all for it.

Besides, you have a combat class at level 80 already. Your other combat classes get an armoury bonus so they'll level up faster than your first one did by a good bit.

I know it was a troll post. Only really posted cause I was bored while waiting to fall asleep. Just wanted to see what kind of stuff they'd say if I came off serious. Got a small chuckle from it

exp rewards and requirements have constantly been adjusted every expansion,a nd sometimes during patches.
Trust me, if the exp requirements/rewards from 2.0 were still in place, getting to 50 would take much longer than it did before 5.3.
(same with heavensward, and stormblood. Thought stormbloods nerf wasnt as big as HW, and HW wasnt as big as ARRs nerf)
Also 2.0 made leveling much harder/longer than it was in 1.19. You could easily spend an hour on a Lv1 class and be Lv50, due to how chaining mobs generated unreasonable amounts of exp.
After doing it once, i stopped myself, so id have some jobs to level for 2.0 (I regret not having done it for BRD and MNK, since I dislike those jobs so much lol.)

I will say, I admire his skill a wee bit with how he always seems to teeter riiiiight on that line of "is he serious or just taking the piss?".

Eh, troll or no the game could use some cutting back on exp here and there and some proper increases in others. :/
