News flash: a change to make something easier IS a nerf.

People are (rightfully) asking for a nerf on this because one person failing a QTE should not wipe the whole group, period. No QTE in this game that I'm aware of has worked like this before, and this just opens the door wide open to 1) people who legitimately can't clear it getting harassed and bailed on because they're "holding back" their party, 2) trolls who will just fail it on purpose to be jerks until they're kicked, and 3) people who encounter someone in group #1 but think they're part of group #2, compounding the potential harassment issue.

There's just really nothing good to come out of letting things stand as they are.

I don't have to admit shit because that's not how I feel. Don't put a spin on my thoughts when you don't know me bruh. I was and am trying to come up with a middle ground cause yes I LIKE that mech. If the QTE is what the issue then I don't see what I said was so bad. You can't pass it because of the QTE right? So whats wrong with just changing that into something like a QCF? And whats this hate for making sure everyone is not afk in the instance? The part of that I like IS the fact we all have to put in. Why is that bad? A QCF motion is way easier on hands then the QTE. Lets ask for that instead of just nerfing it to the point we all can be afk. And yes.. changing the QTE would be a techinal nerf but atleast if they only change that the part I like about the fight is still there. Whats wrong with asking for EVERYONE to be woke and succeed?

We want to make sure all the effort we put in to succeed makes us succeed, because you can be sure we are trying really hard to succeed, but we get punished for having a disability. We are putting in all that we have, but that this QTE is designed in a way that makes it impossible for us to succeed is why we want it changed.

Why can't you see that we are putting in all the effort that we can? And we fail regardless because of something that's out of our control and therefore are kept out of the rest of the story.

I personally wouldn't mind something like that. Not sure how they've manage the movement keybinds but having to put in a sequence is leagues less stressful on the hand than repeated and quick stress motions like QTE spamming.

Sorry, but I don't know that. I've never played Street Fighter. I didn't start gaming properly until Baldur's Gate and then it was only a few games. Like Dragon Age, World of Warcraft, LOTRO, SWTOR.

A sequence to follow might be nicer if it doesn't go too fast.

That's another issue. Because of chronic fatigue my response times are slower. So if you don't mind the bar doesn't lower as fast as it does now, then I wouldn't mind to follow a sequence of buttons. I can memorise a button sequence no problem.

Because it's story mode and it's blocking the progress of everyone in the group (who were randomly matched more likely than not) from progressing in the story. Because it's telling people with physical disabilities that they're no longer welcome to experience the story.

Maybe I'ma sound like a boomer but back in the day, we played games like Metal Gear Solid with mechanics the very same as what we're going through now(button mashing until YES, OUR FINGERS HURT).

I love when people compare the button smashing to Metal Gear Solid but forget about the fact that there was the option to just "give up" and NOT do it.
After that you could still progress in the story and just get a slightly different ending. Thats it.

That's how most the of people look like defending this particular QTE, how can't you see it.
People want engaging fights. People want to succeed. People want teamwork. What they don't want is a mechanic which punishes them for no damn reason.
