No more QTE please.

It was neat and goofy the first time we had it back in Alex, but almost every instance of it since then have done nothing but break the flow and mood of the encounter.

Not to mention how everyone gets punished with a bland reset when one player fails to catch on that he needs to faceroll the keyboard/spam every button on the controller.

I will say, that while the "One person fails, therefore wipe" makes sense in theory, in actual usage it was a pretty bad idea. The party I was in never failed the mechanic (We did wipe right after it, though. No tank LB used. XD), but I can see it having been an issue.

In terms of "Do this or die" mechanics, it's not a terrible one in most cases. This one is just extra long and extra punishing for those who aren't the best at it (or hit enter).

It's one button. One Button, that you click though albeit it they give you very little advance warning you need to do so and I nearly lost it because my hand was nowhere near the mouse at the time and I barely grabbed it in time.

That, and... I will admit that having to spam clicks is exhausting for the finger and can actually cause RSI in some individuals. They could at least have like 2-3 buttons you have to click as they light up or something so it ain't just "spam clicks on this button".

Also, how the upper 70% of the meter is impossible to maintain and it always leaves you 2.5 seconds from losing it is kinda stupid too (previous use of the QTEs didn't do this). So if my finger tires out from all the clicking and I lose it, EVERYBODY wipes?

That is absolutely terrible design, now that I think about it.

I had to do the fight twice, and the actual QTE 4 times (first group wiped twice and disbanded, second group wiped once because of no LB3), and on the 4th one, my finger was feeling pretty tired from all the clicking. I didn't know at the time that 1 person failing meant the entire group wipes.

We know we can press multiple buttons. It doesn't make a difference. As so many people are saying in this thread, 25 pages long: there is something wrong with this QTE. We have never had issues with the previous QTEs before.

I do agree that this QTE was "harder", it certainly did make you spam much harder than a normal QTE....But otherwise it's exactly the same. It just requires you to spam even harder, is all.

Yes and that is exactly the problem. How many times do I need to repeat that? People are experiencing physical pain because of it.

You can hit any button on the keyboard - easiest way to do is to just smash as many as you can. Still sucks, though - and doesnt make for an intresting or fun mechanic, specially when its overtuned like for Mystery Trial.

Can hit any button on a controller too, but even then the bar would dip below half after spamming.
