New Crafting Rotations for Patch 5.3 with Crafting Challenge

Hi everyone, wanted to share some of our new crafting rotations and macros for patch 5.3.

Pro Crafter Challenge! The challenge is to create a rotation that is more efficient and will produce higher quality, or uses less CP. Must be equipped with Facet gears. PM me or mention me in discord when you post your macro. The best ones will be posted on the macro page.

I came up with a few variations while playing around, depending on what food I want to use. All of them are 100% HQ, no HQ mats/no tea/no spec/no FC buffs. I have over 400 HQ Blood Bouillabaisse left over from my Pteranodon grind, so my main rotation has been making use of those. I also came up with other variants that use NQ Blood Bouillabaisse and NQ Tempura Platter. Stats require hefty melds on the new gear, but very light to no melds on tools.

First, my current rotation, using 2742 Craft/2660 Control/551 CP base stats with HQ Blood Bouillabaisse:


I also have a less CP intensive variant that uses more Craftsmanship instead. Base stats are 2777 Craft/2660 Control/538 CP:


And I normally never use HQ food if I can help it, nor do I like crafting my own food or buying it on the MB, so I always try to shoot for rotations that use NQ vendor food. Tempura Platter from Kugane is generally the cheapest option that still gives decent stats at 2,186 gil a pop. This variant requires the heftiest stat melds, but uses the cheapest food. Tools are melded, but not very heavily. Base stats are 2811 Craft/ 2724 Control/ 556 CP:


And if you're willing to spend a little more on food and less on melds, I have an NQ Blood Bouillabaisse(3,737 gil) variant that works with considerably less stats. Base stats: 2777 Craft/ 2673 Control/ 551 CP:


EDIT: Oh and on a sidenote, if anyone's curious, 2640 is the break point on both Gathering and Perception for Pick Clean and Bountiful Yield/Harvest II to give +2 and +3 respectively on the current 2-star nodes. I suspect 2900 will be the breakpoint for the new 3-star nodes in 5.4, which is just barely possible to hit on one stat, but not on both stats.
