Thing is, if you do A ranks separately, you're screwing a train for hundreds of people.

Been running hunts for the longest time. They're fine. You don't adjust content because of a bump in the road. The frenzy will die down soon enough. Morning trains especially often suffer from too few people. The whine and moan is because right now everyone wants their upgrades like 500 gear is so much more important than 490 gear for casual content.
The same rush happened for poetics when relics first hit. That quickly subsided as well.
Maybe they should just remove the weekly cap on the coins for the Nier raids since there is none on hunts. Doesn't really make sense if you think about it. Keep the gear drops weekly. Personally I run A trains for the allegory to cap my characters. The other stuff is a bonus really.

Some of the comments need to relax and stop overthinking this.
They know we do Hunt trains. They don't need to remove all the rewards, nor do we need to chew through them in little anti-social 8 mans. Even if you miss half the hunts on a train due to lag you're getting tons of tomes and Nuts. The train organizers are doing good work for the community. You just have to roll with the chaos for a week or two, hop on the trains anyway and you'll do fine. There are definitely flaws with the Hunt and tweaks they could do to make it more enjoyable but lets not overreact.
