The mayhem is why I even do hunts. I don't want to deal with the Great Mighty Poo and die die die between a group of 8 people. It feels good seeing that HP go down the drain.

A ranks can be usually done with a party of 8 and you can call to your linkshells/FC/area. Yeah it’ll take longer then usual but mission accomplished either way.

And they spawn every hour. If you can play XIV for even 2 hours a day, you're guaranteed to get some in.

Which is the problem for a lot of people - they don't want to spend 8-10 minutes for 10 Allegory, 20 Phantasmagoria, 30 Poetics and 40 Sacks of Nuts when they can spend 20 minutes and get 120 Allegory, 240 Phantasmagoria, 360 Poetics and 480 Sacks of Nuts.

And they spawn every hour. If you can play XIV for even 2 hours a day, you're guaranteed to get some in.

No, they don't. HW/SB/ShB Rank As have a 4-6 hour respawn timer. If you're only playing two hours a day, you can miss out even with world visit depending on when the trains were run.

They should just remove the tome upgrades from the nut rewards.


Serious people have been at 500 ilvl for ages anyway, and other players can just run the weekly nier to upgrade.

I miss the days where I would shout an A or S rank and the people would come. It was always very exciting when I found one Now its like why bother calling it? nobody will come. This community really know how to suck the fun out of things and make things "convenient"
