    As for hunts being fun? Actually they are for me, this week I've only done hunts and 0 expert roulette. Usually I prioritize roulette cause I can do it anytime while for trains I need to wait for one to be conducted, but lately so many are going on that I always find one.



    Uh there actually is an option where you can limit the number of players you see to max of 30, I always have it on.
    I'll have to look into that, thanks. I didn't think this was a thing. I do know that they have a rendering thing where you can prioritize who/what gets rendered, but I wasn't aware that this was a thing.

    Edit: I am having trouble locating it though, so if you wouldn't mind pointing me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

    I would prefer to rewards staying the same, so that people only interested in getting their 500 stuff can have it the soonest possible, and so that the actual rush and all the problems involved can end the soonest possible as well.

    It depends of your personnal preferences. For my part i find that hero's gauntlet is just another (2 packs of mobs + 1 boss)x3 boring faceroll. I would take a Mudman's hunt instead anytime, it is way more funny to still see so much people being flattened by mechanics who have been around for more than one year XD

    I think it is also possible that AoE's aren't visible for everyone when too many players are there. Happened to me in other situations, where they sometimes were shown and sometimes not.

    I completely agree that it would be nice is SE made it so that the S and A ranks were always visible in a wider radius. The current proximity requirements are too short.

    But I completely disagree with the notion that there is something wrong with World Visit/Cross-World Hunt Trains. Hunts are significantly quicker, incredibly well organized and the "Hunt Heroes" that we have that scout and conduct trains are fantastic. Why should a train take longer when people can go to multiple hunt trains a day and farm all the amazing rewards? I want SE to connect all the DCs on NA rather than close things off again.

    Yes, the situation isn't perfect. Move closer to the hunt and get over it. Git Gud. It's incredibly selfish to be like "oh, I have to try a little bit harder to see the hunt, so let's just close it off so I'm personally accommodated".

    SE if you see this, please don't close down this awesome expansion of community content for a vocal minority. Take a look at the data, the number of hunt participants and maybe the chat. Hunts are better than ever and the people that actually participate regularly appreciate it.

    P.S. Aether is amazing. I am so grateful for our hunt community.

    Just coming here to say that I find nothing wrong with the hunts. While I have had issues where I cannot teleport to a zone right away or a mob disappears while I am shooting spells as a SMN, both issues are quickly rectified either by trying to teleport in a few seconds or just moving closer to the mob. As I am in a party I have yet to not get credit on these hunts. Of course threads like these will come up as hunts are in high demand right now due to upgrades being linked to them, however I think that any attempt to change hunts for the people who are upset now will disrupt hunts for the worse for anyone doing hunts for the rest of the time outside of the few weeks that they are extremely popular on the odd patches.

    Also, hunts are extremely efficient and rewarding as they are now. Someone mentioned "are hunts fun?" in the current iteration. I would say that while they aren't as engaging as other types of content, they aren't NOT fun. What ISN'T fun is what hunts used to be, over an hour to do them all, or people killing hunts with a small group of people on their own, rather than saving them all up for a cohesive all-encompassing smash-through. The train takes like 20-30 minutes now, which I find extremely satisfying.

    For players who were dedicated to hunts and had fun with them, an hour of hunting would be more time to have fun than just a few minutes.

    For other players a patch with many story quests would be fun because they can spend a lot of time with the story while for others would just one or two quests be good because they could be done fast and they have morer time to do other things.

    There will always be people who like content how it is and people who don't like or have never dealt with that content. And whenever content gets changed by SE to get more people who didn't like or never dealt with it into that content, some people inevitably will dislike the changes. That goes for everything, not just for hunts.
