    Puppets' Bunker motion sickness

    Hey

Unsure this is the correct place to post this.

In the Puppets' Bunker alliance raid before the 3rd boss there are several corridors that you travel "down" and I honestly have never gotten a motion sickness headache so fast from anything else especially for the time spent in them.

I'm aware this isn't something that can be fixed (I'm going to just look away from my screen) but it would be nice for conisderation to be made towards this for the future.

I'm pretty sure, in part, its because the corridors are so bright there.

    Thanks

How exactly did you get motion sickness from it? Its a third person game, and you're going down what is effectively a slide, not a centrifuge intended to train astronauts. If you get motion sickness from this, especially considering you can manipulate your camera however you like, and by default it stays at a constant height, it might be a good idea to see a doctor about this.

Rough thing about them making adjustments about motion sickness is that not everyone gets motion sickness the same way that does have it.

Have you tried filters for your screen to help with the brightness? I usually have my Night Light mode on when I'm on my comp due to anything bight just killing them.

It’s the same animation used for the ramp in The Burn, the water slide in Rabanastre and probably a lot of other duties. Nothing you’ve not experienced before but with a “bunker” background

This, try fixing some of the filters on your screen and see if it helps. Also if you have reshade turned on with any filters that increase contrast turn that off immediately.

There's a warp point right after the sliding ramps... For warping to the third boss...

In an absolutely bid to avoid the ramps at all costs, you could use return to get back to start of the Raid, and then use the warp to get past the ramps.

This is true... like I had no problem in Puppet's Bunker, but I always get motion sick in dungeons like Doma Castle where the water is moving but I am not. Sadly there's not a way to address this for everyone.

I get motion sickness from most games that use the Unreal Engine, even if it's in third person. Well at least in OP's case it's just one tiny section of the entire game and they don't need to be actively watching the screen at that moment. Still sucks when it happens though.

Same. I get motion sickness rather easily from games. MMOs thankfully typically have NOT given me troubles, but there are a few spots in XIV where I start feeling a bit off. Other games I can play for 20 minutes, even if third-person, and then get so sick I have to lie down for a couple of hours.

I get slight motion sickness from some things now in games. I personally didn't notice anything with the new raid.

I have more problems while talking though parts of the Alexander raids. Also the Dancer LB3 shaking bothers me a lot. Neither of those happen that often so I manage though.
