Yeah sorry bad choice of terminology, what I mean to say is I'd love to see more magic classes with maybe a quest to unlock them like the level 30 classes in XI. But not quests that require a group like the current jobs. Too much like XI you think?Welcome back, and I wanted to address this line you wrote.
Don't think of jobs as "advanced classes", they are in fact jobs, meant for party play. You can even solo with them if you like more of a challenge.
Class = great for solo and different situations
Job = great for party play.
As for other "classes" I'm looking forward to more classes as well. I think they have balanced the class/job system quite well.
Again, welcome back, and I'm glad you are enjoying the game.
I can see them doing this when introducing new classes. There was a nice small quest just for the inn rooms.thanks for the WB guys.
It has improved quite a bit. And i just got an email from SE about the most recent patch, highlighting the jobs etc. They need more of this kind of marketing going on as 2.0 gets closer if they ever want to attract new players and get back more old ones.
Welcome back!![]()

Thing is the GW2 beta is going to occupy many that would come back for a while, but the more they keep updating old players the better I agree. Perhaps they need to email more often even.

Always nice to see a positive look at the game from a returning player. I've played off and on myself between major patches, but I think I'll be playing this game full time. Although Diablo 3 might distract me some >.>
