Melding Guide FFXIV Patch 5.3 - i490 Aesthete's Gathering Gear Set + Ariyala Template

This is our melding guide for FF14 patch 5.31 for the i490 Aesthete's gathering set. This is a penta-melded set designed to carry you from level 80 to 90 when the time comes. If you are using the current Dragonsung tool the stats will be lower than the guide. This will change as we do the upgrades.

Stats with the melded main hand are 2671/2682/858. Be sure to check the little box that says "Show marked items only".

Patch 5.31 updated melding guide for the Diadem and i490 Aesthete's Gathering Gears: The stats we need for the Gathering Breakpoints for Bonus on Nodes: Gathering - 2740, Perception - 2642, GP - 858. Equipped with crafted MH tool and buffed with HQ Mushroom Saute stats are 2747/2720/858. Unfortunately you can not hit all of the required stats f the Dragonsung main hand tool is equipped.

Since this is a all purpose melding guide - for Diadem, collectibles, HQ materials and ephemeral nodes - I'm holding onto as much perception as possible. The only difference between this guide and the previous one is the hat.

In the notes and video description for the previous guide I suggested leaving several of the final melds open so you can make the necessary adjustments for the Diadem. If you did that you will only need to add 12 points of gathering and 8 GP for the final melds and you will be right on track for all the Diadem gathering as well as all other types of gathering in other areas.

You can use the Ariyala's template as is or modify the melds to meet your personal needs. If you make a modified copy, be sure to save it by using the "Share" button at the bottom of the Ariyala's web page, and bookmark it.

Pro tip: If you miss 5 - 10 melds in a row while doing advanced melding, stop. Change classes and do something else for a while, go to another zone and enjoy the game. I usually craft one piece and then meld it to avoid the marathon materia explosions that can happen - much more enjoyable that way.

    Hi,
Thanks for the guide. But what about Fisher as they don't have a good second hand tool. I am using currently this melds for mining. https://ffxivteamcraft.com/gearset/uMxR2va5mAjTZ9a6oSii
So I am using every part of this gear for fishing and I have added perception to my rod and the total for fisher now is 2182 Gath/ 1919 Perc / 858 GP as my miner he is at 2641/2798/823.
