I think some of the environmental ideas would make nice additions... like seasons and seasonal monsters, or having more of an ecosystem.

A little more danger might also be nice. I actually miss the Peiste that would sometimes hang out in front of the gate to Ul'dah, or the Ogre that lurked west of Camp Horizon, or even the Antlings that would sometimes attack people on their way to Camp Drybone. I was one-shotted by them too, but it was kind of fun in hindsight.

This is probably one of the biggest problems facing any game or content developer now.

Be it wanting to get recognition, help others, have that "me too" as soon as possible, or whatever... one of the first things many people do these days is share strategies, and look for how to beat new content before really trying to figure it out themselves.

We could probably enjoy things a lot longer if we turned off "easy mode" ourselves by not going to forums, YouTube, and Google for all the locations, strategies and guides first.
