Nascent Flash - Party Restriction - Please Remove for PvP

Resubbed after they finally removed the party restriction for Nascent Flash for PvE. It feels so much better now. I'll still use a macro to target party members, companion, or npc if there's one around, but it just feels good to not have to have anyone of those around to use the action.

Could we get the same change for PvP Nascent Flash?

I know it's probably fine the way it is for Feast, but for things like Frontlines and Rival Wings, it feels bad to lose out on so much healing when a party member wasn't around.

Can we get this change? After which, I hope War stays the same in 6.0. I'd be perfectly satisfied if Nascent Flash party requirement was removed for PvP and War stay the same for 6.0 imo.

Just wanted to point out that the party target requirement for nascent flash can be especially annoying in Frontlines and Rival Wings. It is especially restrictive in Rival Wings because the parties are smaller there with just 4 people. If your party members die or you split up briefly for some reason, you can't use Nascent Flash. It doesn't even work on alliance members. It's a shame to lose out on such a powerful healing tool and fun button in these modes. Can we get this change in 5.31 or 5.35?

I feel like not applying this change to pvp was an unintentional oversight.

Yeah... In Rival Wings especially this isn't working. One of your three party members will either be grabbing a mech or just using one that is off doing something important, and you have plenty of reasons to split up besides. Sucks a core part of our sustain can be so routinely unavailable, even when you are playing with a party that's trying to work together. They definitely need to change this to work without a party member for PvP.

Just thought I'd bump my own thread. Hopefully we get the Nascent Flash party target requirement removed for pvp in Patch 3.51 or 3.55 at the latest.

It is not an oversight as it is intentional to offset the top tier action Holmgang. In the discussion thread over PvP action balance at Japanese PvP forum, the discussion shift to Warrior’s Holmgang starting June 2020. They have more in depth analyze on Warrior and it is an interesting read.

How does this offset Holmang? Every tank has equivalent healing. In feast, nascent flash is always available. So I'm not sure what you mean.

The only real effect the party target requirement has is that it gimps war healing in other pvp modes like Frontline or rival wings.
