So are we just overlooking that Thancred grew a new eye? (Spoilers kinda)

After the events of ARR when we recovered Thancred he had lost an eye and wore that bandage to cover it up. But in shadowbringers when we see him again he has his eye back. I attributed it to the fact he was in soul form and maybe his soul wasn’t damaged just his physical body.

But now with the conclusion of shadowbringers he’s back in his real body and took on his shadowbringers look. Including having his eye back. No scar, no damage whatsoever, so are we to assume Thancred is some kind of lizard man that can regrow missing parts?

His eye was injured and it healed. Thancred kept the eye patch to impress the ladies, something which Y'shtola called him out on.

He also mentioned it in side text if you spoke with him during the MSQ a few times.

The talk around it was vague but we did see him post-HW without his eyepatch in one scene when he was infiltrating a castrum with Krile - his left eye seems intact but the pupil had turned silver/white.

Now it's back to its normal colour without any acknowledgement that it changed.

(He's also had a haircut sometime between collapsing and reawakening... but at least that would have a more mundane explanation.)

Overall it looks like they might have just completely forgotten that Thancred's appearance throughout Shadowbringers doesn't match his physical body.
