What is the problem exactly? You can find the medium and large pictures twice and get 50 leaves per week. The mini game is not hard.

Sometimes rumors are just... rumors.
Oh you're right, I missed that. So getting both pictures twice gives 30-50 leaves per week. The way the grid is designed it's almost impossible to not find at least one retelling and one 2x2 box per week, so 15-25 points minimum. Finding both pictures isn't too uncommon if you play the game efficiently.
An average of 25 per week would mean the mount takes 24 weeks / 48 kills. That's less effort than many other primal mounts, but it's not an immediate reward.

24 weeks is almost half a year. Much longer than a single patch cycle. By then, there will have been a new mount added to the rewards list while I'm still trying to buy the first one. (This is even taking into account I'm doing the fight consistently twice every single week with no breaks) Not to mention trying to get the minion as well. It's just not reasonable.Oh you're right, I missed that. So getting both pictures twice gives 30-50 leaves per week. The mount is tradeable so you can buy it from players who are not collectors. New collectibles get added all the time before everyone gets the old ones. Every patch there is a new primal mount, new music rolls, new minions, new hair styles, new glamours using rare submarine or map loot as materials, and so on. 48 kills is not out of the ordinary in this game, and neither is 24 weeks. Custom delivery titles take around that long to get.

Yeah, 50 leaves per week is more like the maximum amount you're likely to ever see per week. More likely you will only get 15-20 leaves per week. This week I failed to completely uncover the gift box on my retelling (ran out of leaves searching for it and uncovered 3 out of 4 tiles....grrrrr) and only walked away with the 5 leaves from the swords...which really feels like a total waste of time. I would say 30 leaves from the swords, 75-150 leaves from the gift boxes, and 600 leaves from the commander would be more reasonable for something like this. The commander is basically the equivalent of getting three lines on Wondrous Tales, so I feel getting it should be an instant "get whatever you want" button.
That might be overdoing it I think. A small buff would help.Yeah, 50 leaves per week is more like the maximum amount you're likely to ever see per week. Also, if you're on your retelling, a chest is much more valuable that swords. So I'd hunt for that first.
Eh I think it's fair, with my amounts you're getting and average of 100-150 leaves per week, which still means 6 weeks of doing this for the mount, which is more than long enough for most people. And if you want the mount and the minion, that makes it almost the entire length of the patch to get both, even with my increased amount. Expecting the playerbase to grind the same single trial for longer than that is just insulting. Add new rewards (while still keeping the old ones) with each unreal trial like you'd expect them to do, and you'll still be grinding forever, but at least it will feel like you're getting something substantial each week.
