I feel like we get too little for what is needed for any of the new items.

I feel like this could be remedied either by;
1. Upping the amount non dual swords give, but not too overboard something like 250 for Commander, 100 for chest, 50 for 3rd.

Or

2. Give us more retries 5x or 10x, though I think 5x is best (since they didn't want people invalidating the mount value quickly since it is sellable)


Overall idea is fine it is Shiva Ex at lv80 not a challenge to any older vet who farmed ponies when current but the reward system needs a bit of updating.

350 for necklace
600 mount
200 minion

Get 100 for Commander who rarely shows up
20 for chest
10 for 3rd
5 for dual swords but gives 1 extra retry a week

So if stupid lucky 200 at most a week, most ain't that lucky >_>.

The mount and the necklace can also be bought using Gold(mount) and Silver(necklace) certificates from Khloe. One for mount, and 2 for necklace. That leaves you with only really needing to save for the minion....or mount and minion if you are unlucky like me with the wondrous tales.

I could understand if the content was braindead easy. But it's not. It's a step below EX but still a step up from Normal Story Trials (Omega etc). Spent an hour wiping with a DF group and I decided this isn't worth my time.

It's stupid how you can get the same reward from wondrous trials. It'll take you over 24 weeks assuming you can get 15 a week.

I just gave up on the faux thing when I saw that it required running instances. I don't need cosmetic stuff that bad.

Yeah, for me this entire system is pointless. I'm not gonna bend over backwards just to get a mount I don't really want or a necklace I would never wear.

Being able to just buy the mount and minion on the MB certainly makes the whole thing feel pointless. I know I'm certainly not going to be spending any leaves on them when I can and will be buying them from the MB for the much more easier to obtain currency of gil. I'll be doing the unreal trials and faux hollows purely for the achievement (50 times....) and no other reason until they add a unique untradable reward to the system.

And honestly, I'm fine with that. I know I'm not the only one who was worried about this whole limited time trial thing, but it turns out there are no achievements or rewards of any kind tied specifically to Shiva Unreal. I like knowing that when Shiva is retired and the next Unreal is added, I won't be stressed about missing out on anything.

People are allowed to have their opinions, you know. I'm not gonna knock someone else for enjoying something I do not, and vice versa. However, I'm free to say that I don't like something and why because this is a public forum. Like I said in my post above, it is pointless...for me. I won't speak for everyone else because to some this is really awesome and they like the rewards...and that's okay. I'm not a fan, and that's also okay.
