I didn't. There is no reason to do the FATE more than twice and there's nothing else to occupy time in the area; though really, that's how all of the seasonal content is becoming. Heck, even some regular content feels to be coming close to that kind of situation.

I was looking forward to people trying to fly up the tower, hitting the no-mount zone, and plummeting to the ground. Oh well.
There are a lot of places in ARR areas that are coded with some kind of "cannot land here" flag that you can jump onto, but aren't able to touch down on despite there being ample space to do so.
They could easily just implement the tower with such a restriction in place.
That would work, but you'd have an issue with flying griefers who would hover on top of your jump target or the character you're trying to position for a jump. There are a lot of places in ARR areas that are coded with some kind of "cannot land here" flag that you can jump onto, but aren't able to touch down on despite there being ample space to do so.

It's not here because it's not part of the theme, last two had jumping puzzle as part of the theme. This year Moonfire returns more to original Bomb theme so natural that the jumping puzzle wouldn't appear.
A system error occurred during event movement.

That's a pretty flimsy excuse. If they gave us the same amount of stuff to do or possibly more (i wouldn't expect that though right now), sure whatever; but they actively took something away for players to do that was already in the game. Taking away things for players to do should never be the plan for an event.
Even if i was never big into the tower climb, it always had people participating in it and i think it was beyond stupid to reduce the activities down to just a FATE where we dance at a thing and then dodge an AoE (A FATE in which you only have to participate in twice, total, to get all of the event rewards).
