Seat of Sacrifice is far too overtuned for LFR

No question that boss is overtuned for LFR even when mechanics are followed. DPS and HPS check are a little above normal.

Follow-up: My only concern is with random LFR comps it maybe 3-5% tuned too high but Square will be the ultimate decider looking at clear rates of the MSQ.

Every mechanic is very straightforward/ reuses mechanics from previous normal raid level fights, and they all have ample levels of telegraphing, personally myself and my friends made it through with no wipes all in different DF parties. Pay attention, don't stand in bad, move for blizzard, don't move for fire.

Seeing some issues with HPS mostly. Seems about 5% tuned to high. Just a guess. Bad LFR comp set-up and you are just screwed. I am sure Square will be able to verify far better then me.

I actually think most of the fight is fine. Most are mechanics seen before or can be learned quickly. The only sticking point to me atm is the qte HAS to be passed by all 8 people, which is different from before where if you fail you just died and everyone else continues. This wouldn't be a big deal, but I had a run today in a Trials Roulette where the off tank dced and while we all passed, because they weren't present, wipe. But other then that, it's a fun and fair fight.

The QTE just feels like unless you're a fully able person (we have all kinds playing and they should be able to enjoy the main story), it's very VERY difficult. I didn't have any problems myself but my first 2 queues had people who just COULDN'T do it for the full duration. So much so that we were skipping mechanics on the first phase because we had the patterns down pat and our DPS was perfect.

I get it's supposed to be a challenge and a big crescendo, but it's possibly gonna be an insurmountable wall for lots of people.

While I don't think it needs to be nerfed overall. If there's one thing I do agree on. How fast someone can tap a button is about the worst way to add difficulty I've seen.

Could have gone without button mashing, but otherwise I thought it was perfect.
My party wiped about 6 times but we learned from every wipe until we cleared. It was great.

QTEs are overdone at this point. And to be honest, I don't think that smashing a key for 15s or so adds anything to any fight.

And, in this particular case, I also agree with you.

Fight is fine. If what im reading about 1 person failing the QTE wipes the party is true(it didnt happen in my clear, so obviously i have no idea) then thats the only thing i would change. Kill those who fail and let any survivors try to res them up and keep going. Thats perfectly acceptable.

I think the fight is fine. I had a full newbie party, all DPS were ranged and we cleared just fine after expected wipes. We figured the mechanics as we went and we all had a blast, as expected screaming at every awesome scene going!

While I agree everyone needing to pass the QTE can be daunting (we had one who kept failing and we cheered them on till we passed!) I also understand the concept of it - you struggle against odds you are meant to lose and you're not giving up despite visual indicators of evident failure. However I'd say maybe make the hidden gauge easier to pass? We can't see it anyway!
