Enmity materia changes - will melded gear change too?

The question has come up a few times in my LS; will gear melded with enmity materia be changed along with the materia changes?

My guess is that it will change. The reason I think this, is that if you take a look at your melded gear, it seems as though a given melded item is actually still 2 (or more) items the materia and whatever gear it's attached to. I imagine that in the DB, the gear and it's attached materia actually exist in seperate tables that have a foreign key relationship joining the items in the database. Therefore, when enmity materia is updated, our items will be too.

What do you think?


edit*: Also for fun; if this is true, have you checked out your post-patch enmity totals? if so what are they? Mine will be 60 for WAR and 78 for PLD if the above statement is true. :P

Yes it should be. It's listed in SE's update on Lodestone:

The bonus attributes granted by the following materia will be adjusted: ...

* The attributes of materia already existing in-game will automatically change to reflect the above following release of patch 1.22.
