Blitzballer as next Ranged DPS

Ignoring the big badly showing up in this cinematic cutscene, I'd love to have Blitzball as a PvP mini game and Blitzballer Job Class be introduced like this!

I know that this topic is probably half a meme, but can we get some more serious physical ranged job?
We have Bard, Dancer, Acrobat Mechanic aka Machinist. We could use something more generic now to be honest, Ranger, Gunner, something like that.
