    Unable to Launch Final Fantasy XIV Updater

    [11035][30425][5][19900][5]

    I've tried all the various fixes offered up from the internet. Even uninstalled it. Please advise.

    Hello! I am Having this problem as well. I never had an issue with the game or launcher so far.
    My Message is as follows: Unable to launch FINAL FANTASY XIV Updater.[11035][30425][30415][5][19900][5]

    What I´ve already tried:

    1.Go to documents/ my games -> Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn. Open FFXIV_BOOT.cfg with Editor -Look for "BootVersionCheckMode", if there is a 0 change it to 1 or vice versa, delete whole folder or just BootsVersionCheckMode.
    2.Run ffxivboot.exe as admin.
    3.Turn of windows defender/ antivirus sofware and try again - pls switch it on again after it.
    4. Update Windows and graphiccard drivers.
    All these steps did not help so far. Now my hubby (Engineer for IT) is checking via teamview. I am having a new windows update waiting which I will run now, plus an update driver for my graphics card.
    I will check back later to tell if this worked or not.

    *UPDATE*
    With a disabled Real time Protection ( from Windows) and in Windows 7 Mode it is downloading now!

    Just a comment to the launcher: when my husband tried to delete some files to force it to download it again it just did´nt do anything. There is any option for repair or else also it seems that it can´t reconize if something is missing from alone. It would be great if this would be implemented in the future.

    Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

    - The game will use the Internet Explorer web browser to connect to the internet. Open Internet Explorer, then open the "Tools" setting, go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
    - Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
    - Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
    - Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
    - Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
    - Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
    - Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
    - Please RESTART your PC now. Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"

    -Make sure your fire wall or antivirus program is not interfering with the game

    - Check to see if the following port ranges are opened on your router. You can contact your ISP and request they open them for you:

    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040

    -Try disabling background applications and do a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the “Start up” tab. Disable everything and then restart the PC.

    my work around:

    I rebooted in safe mode with networking.

    Is there a new launcher? My computer seems to think it's spoopy. Whatever the case, it reverted to the old launcher in safe mode and that was sufficient apparently.
