Something i suggested about it, was to allow us to pick wich character to log in and let us control as we normally do, and pick another one (AND ONLY 1 AT A TIME) to follow us as somewhat what NPC fellows were in XI.

allowing us to do the quest on both chars at same time and missions and what not, that would be awesome... if you ever played a gamme called "Secret of Mana (seiken densetsu II)" from SNES you get my idea.

It would help justify the crazy price. lol :3
I like the idea. I can't see SE letting us do this, but it'd be fun.

Yes, ffxiv is in a discounted state at $9.99. At full price, it's $12.99, so still cheaper than it's competitors. You can't play all the jobs in other games on one character, thus hte need for multiple characters per account. FFXI/V doesn't have that issue. And why would you want to play another character that didn't have your rare/ex items, other jobs leveled, your choco quest done, etc?

If it's really that big of a deal, go play one of those other games that are "cheaper". I think we'll manage without you, somehow.
