But since they never gave us a scene where the WoL learnt their anti-tempering shield I doubt they would truly need a reason to give it to us.

Well we have to wait and see since lore wise, current WoL has not even awakened his powers as Azem yet. All of it is still sealed away inside the Azem Soul Crystal. The upcoming MSQ maybe about awakening those memories and powers through the course of 5.4 to 6.0
