Zenos and his little ascian overlord sidekick are nothing compared to that.

Furthermore, I feel like the story has only been told to me - I didn't get to live through it.
I remember when Hades was totally shocked, as we appeared as Amaurotean to him for a second.

And now it's just like "Ye, you're Azem. Here's your crystal, bye!"

I got the impression that Hades

made the crystal ages ago in the hopes of finding Azem again, not specifically because he thought you were Azem.

The story isn't totally over, not yet anyway. Zodiark is presumably still trapped in the moon, Hydaelyn is still hiding in the planet, the mini-Ascians are still around and while they might struggle in a toe-to-toe brawl they're still immortal dimension hopping schemers.

Still a few big things to wrap up.
