One other question about the MSQ.
Was it actually confirmed that we are Azem? It still seems like Hythlodaeus made it sound like we could use her crystal but he didn't outright say, "Because Azem is you." It still seemed to leave just enough mystery to who we really were.
Then there's Elidibus asking the same question Thordin asked when it was clear he could not defeat us. "What are you?" I feel like if we were Azem, he would have recognized us. Though it seems like he had begun to forget a lot of things about his past.
As an aside, was anyone else slightly annoyed when Elidibus said, "When we first fought, I won." I was like, no you didn't. I beat you and then you basically respawned and my soul was summoned to the First. Nitpicky detail, I know. Just wish we were given a dialogue option to refute that line.
About Elidibus being a....
Primal. Since we know Zodiarc is a primal as well, that means primals can summon primals which opens a lot of potential for future arcs and tons of shenanigans.
If you did Eureka...
Eureka is a primal that makes primal weapons (i.e. Zantetsuken) that turn their wielders into primals (Odin)
I'll keep it in a spoiler tagNew job teases
Yes this gets its own section because I truly believe they were just that teases
Chemist/potion healer - heavily requested by community
Necromancer - heavily requested by community
Thief- requested by community for full job
Rune Knight/Fencer(secret trial boss) - requested by the community
Beserker - staple job in series
I think each and every one of them was a red herring and the true job/s for 6.0 have yet to have any appearance, these jobs were a nod to what we would want and nothing more.
I think the only "confirmed" hint at a possible new job is Chemist/Salve-Maker, from the little Miqo'te girl. Reason being that quest was just too in your face to be coincidental. SE has done hints like that before with Alisaie for RDM, and the patch title for 4.4 for BLU. They confirmed that, I'm not just speculating.
As for the other jobs mentioned. I think that's just supposed to represent similar jobs from the other shards. Similar to how the First didn't have a BLM or WHM, but a Magus and Devout.
In short, the only real hint is for Chemist/Salve-Maker. The others just fit the theme of their locations; dungeon, trial, etc.
I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.
Main story:
I enjoyed it, feels like it was wrapped up a little fast, or maybe should have started a little sooner, but I still enjoyed it.
People have already touched on major stuff, so just a minor thing I liked. My WoL feeling comfortable enough in her power to keep giving the great Elidibus, last of the unsundered ancients, a bunch of sass.
Thought an option to channel a bit of Emet was amusing while still being pretty appropriate.

Happy to discover thatwe're not really the WoL. We embody another archetype; we have come full circle and once again know ourselves to be the Adventurer.
Vindication, but not necessarily of the very-pleasing variety:Hydaelyn is just a mindless automaton, for the most part. Not much different to Elidibus, except for the fact that her memory, presumably, hasn't been subject to the same sort of dissolution
