Well since we do have our Azem stone right now and this does probably play after Elidibus is gone they could have had a good enough reason to give our WoL a nice little shield. But since they never gave us a scene where the WoL learnt their anti-tempering shield I doubt they would truly need a reason to give it to us.

Guess in the end Fray is just so annoying in our heads that we are constantly not 100% there in the real world or she simply hoped that she could finally punch a primal again.

Well we have to wait and see since lore wise, current WoL has not even awakened his powers as Azem yet. All of it is still sealed away inside the Azem Soul Crystal. The upcoming MSQ maybe about awakening those memories and powers through the course of 5.4 to 6.0

Given what happens with Gunnhildr I'm expecting the now tempered Gunnhildr's Blades to be Misija's lackeys and probably be put down unless Ba Gu is returned to normal and proving that tempering can be undone (and that Alisaile is involved) by then.

Considering the Coils of Bahamut...

Extremely powerful Primals can give up their tempered thralls and turn them back to normal when they want to. I suspect we'll be saving them via purifying the blade itself, and then the blade will probably end up killing Misija for daring to manipulate it like this. That of course will be after a trial/BA thing where we defeat her first.

More likely the Blades will be opponents of 5.4 equivalent of Southern Bozjan Front area and be the source of duels and fates. And if I'm totally honest, I can't wait to fight Stanick; he has kicked monsters out of melee range for the last time.

Temper temper my Mom always say

Queen Gunhildyr could release the temper she put on the blades but is unlikely to do so before we deal with Misija and soothe her wrath.

Queen Gunhildyr hasn't tempered anyone before now unlike Odin or more accurately Zansetsuken vs Save the Queen, the blade didn't even awake until Misija held it, this may have given the Queen the reassurance that Bozja lived on but when Misija declares otherwise grief and anguish sink in over being manipulated (Love the irony here XD) by her own people.

That is probably what we will deal with in 5.4 the Queen's manipulated wrath, now what happens after who knows she may ask to be destroyed, she may continue being angry and never let go of the blades thus we would be forced to execute them, but based on how long she has remained dormant in the Save the Queen blade it stands to reason she is not naturally a primal who tempers by presence(like Ramuh) but by forcing it onto others (like Ifrit, Zansetsuken, Bahamut) so when we defeat her the sword and everyone could be ok.

Moogle finally completed Featherfall in Ishgard Restoration and after quite a bit of a quest chain

it is said that Brume restoration began in the earnest! Do you think we will see it fully restored at some point?

I'm suspecting that

that's going to be the final stage of the Ishgard Restoration, fixing up The Brume.

I was pleasantly surprised by this, as well. I didn't think we'd ever see any change there, but now it's looking like a possiblity...
