Shoutout to all the junk loot being removed from the dungeons. Maybe now people will stop going off in a completely unrelated, time-wasting direction for a grand total of 3 potions you can't even use because they heal too little.

Prepare for disappointment because if I see a chest I'll let the whole party perish to get it regardless. P e r i s h.
Chests with junk loot also got removed in general, so there's less chests to go around.
EDIT:
Yeah but I benefit from that, too, since I can roll. Nobody benefits from 3 junk potions being added to a random guy's inventory.

Well, it seems the reason for removing all that junk was so the chests now always drop actual gear, so for players at the dungeon's lvl there may be more reason for to go get them, not less. Or for those turning in all gear to grand companies.

Ot wasn't all junk. Some of the crafting materials were nice to get and have in stock.
They were a nice bonus when you were put in those dungeons by the roulette, but if you actually need the materials for a crafting project it's way faster to farm company seals and buy them. Or, if you're like me, you buy the materials first and then get the seals back soon after from turning in all the junk gear you greed from dungeons. I get more seals than I know what to do with so I'm just happy if I actually have something useful to spend them on.
it's actually sad, how else will you get the zombie looking chest pieces.
